Writer Rules


We need some great Top 10 List writers!

Please note that this is spec work that is work-made-for-hire.  We only pay for work that is accepted and published on our site.  We pay $30 per article. You must follow our Writer Rules!  Then Submit a List.

However, once accepted we will get you paid fast!  

Your list must: 

1. Be Unique, no plagiarizing.  Please check your article with an online plagiarism checker before submitting;

2. Be passionate and evoke either 

         a. strong positive emotions e.g. Top 10 Most Amazing Places on Earth, You Won’t Believe They are Real;
                 i. Articles that inspire awe (amazing facts, places, people, events, etc.) are perfect.
         b. Strong negative emotions (e.g. Top 10 Reasons You’re Still A Fatty Fatterton)
                i. Unfortunately, negative content and especially negative headlines really get our reader’s attention.

                 ii. If you do write an article with negative emotion, try to use a “deliciously evil” tone rather than a “deliberately mean or degrading” tone.  Think Jack Nicholson as the Joker in Tim Burton’s first Batman movie (also starring Michael Keaton).  

3. Over 2500 words where each numbered item is 250 words; 

4. Funny, scary, hip, edgy, or thought provoking; and 

5.  The List must be 10 to 1 (i.e. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1).

Keep in mind our readers like offbeat, contrarian stuff like “Top 10 Urban Legends that are Actually True!!”

Our readers also love top 10 lists that contain: 

       • Secret knowledge that most people aren’t aware of;
       • Functional information such as how-tos and articles with direct life application are great;
       • Popular misconceptions;
       • Interesting facts; 
       • Science related top ten lists

Just find a great topic, write an article, and submit it.  If we like it, we’ll publish it, and you’ll get paid through paypal.
